First day of summer so beach time :)
Forecast gave 10-15 knots NE so was optimistic of some windsurf action ...
Got to beach midday, wasn't a lot of wind but the whitecaps were visible ... Decided to get a feel for the wind on the SUP and have a bit of a workout into the bargain. Was pretty tricky with choppy swell running and almost enough wind to be fun on windsurf kit.
Had couple shifts in SUP mode, then a spin on Gavalaars 11'5 kona and 6.0m without bothering with harness etc and nearly got it planing. Messed about a bit ... Front to sail, spinny sail, clew first, and couple wet moments just to keep it real ;)
Back out on SUP for bit more core and Achilles workout before packing up for home.
Nice to see few more coming out from hibernation to windsurf too.
